Every year, the students in Ms. Sidley’s video production classes compile all their footage from the semester to bring Woodside a day of enjoyment and relaxation in the PAC. The annual film festival is always a treat, and this year was no exception. Not only did the films impress the Woodside students, but a couple of the films gained recognition from other, more competitive film festivals. Lisa Gil, Aleisha Juarez, Victor Anguiano, and Alex Herrera’s films were all accepted into the extremely competitive Pacific Films Archive, on February 11, at 3pm in Berkeley. Meanwhile, one of Scott Feuerhelm’s films will air between April 19 and May 3 in front of thousands of people at the San Francisco International Film Festival (S.F.I.F.F.), a highly prestigious showcase that presents more than 150 films from over 50 different countries! It’s a great honor to have a film selected for the S.F.I.F.F. and a terrific achievement for Scott.
