Rehearsals are currently underway for this year’s spring musical production of “Once on This Island,” written by Lynn Ahrens. The musical tells the story of a young peasant girl who, by a touch of fate, saves a “grand homme” (one of the rich plantation owners of the island), and falls in love with him. The goddess of love and the demon of death do this so as to “test the strength of love against the power of death.” The talented cast is very excited to perform this dramatic caribbean love story for everyone starting in late March, not to mention, the set and costumes will give you the feeling of being on a real caribbean island!
Show Dates: March 18, 19, 20, 25 and 26
Tickets are on sale soon, and can be bought online, by phone, or at the door. Check back soon for more details on ticket sales!
