The nation of Panem lives under the rule of Captiol. To keep the 12 districts in line, the harsh, cruel Capitol sends one boy and one girl from each district to participate in a game with one survivor: The Hunger Games. Sixteen year old Katniss Everdeen gets her world turned upside down when she is chosen to be a player. She is smart, fast, and thinks on her feet. She can take down any animal with a bow and arrow. But, will that be enough to survive?
